Slipknot frontman performing solo
August 5, 2011 - 1:02 am
Corey Taylor hates people and sleep. OK, so that first part might be a little harsh, but as the frontman for masked misanthropes Slipknot, Taylor seldom professes much love for the human race.
As for the aversion to rest, well, that's a little easier to verify. In addition to also singing for hard-edged rockers Stone Sour, Taylor also plays solo dates when not making the rounds with his other two bands. Plus, he just penned a book, "Seven Deadly Sins." Bet you're feeling kinda lazy right about now, huh?
See Corey Taylor at 9 p.m. today at the Hard Rock Pool, 4455 Paradise Road. Tickets are $25; call 693-5583.
