Literary Las Vegas

Author of more than 13 mystery novels, Sharen Skylar doesn't have to look further than her home in Las Vegas for inspiration. Her book "In the Blink of an Eye" explores the gritty world of exotic dancing in a fictional club called the Velvet Lap. When dancers start disappearing, detective Zac Harmon is called in to uncover the club's dark secrets.

Not one girl would confide anything to the police, so the detectives figured that the girls had been warned to keep quiet, and the girl were doing exactly that.
