Fireworks, food, music and more are planned this weekend at venues across the Las Vegas Valley and beyond.
Whether it is staying close to home or traveling just outside the valley , there are plenty of Fourth of July celebrations for people to attend.
SPRINGS PRESERVE
The Springs Preserve, 333 S. Valley View Blvd., is scheduled to host its Independence Day festival, Red, White & Tunes, from 8 to 10 p.m. Saturday . The event features music including a performance from the UNLV Community Band.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children 6 or older. Families can purchase a family package of tickets for $12, which includes two adults and up to four children.
Station Casinos
People can stay in the comfort of their backyards if they want to enjoy free firework shows.
Station Casinos is slated to launch fireworks at 9 p.m. from five casinos: Aliante Station, 7300, Aliante Parkway; Green Valley Ranch Resort, 2300 Paseo Verde Parkway; Fiesta Rancho, 2400 N. Rancho Drive, sharing a fireworks display with Texas Station, 2101 Texas Star Lane; and Red Rock Resort, 11011 W. Charleston Blvd.
The nine-minute show, produced by fireworks company Grucci's of New York, celebrates the nation's 235th birthday and Station Casinos' 35th anniversary.
SUMMERLIN PATRIOTIC PARADE
The Summerlin Patriotic Parade has been scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Monday. The parade begins at Hillpointe Road and Hills Center Drive and heads south on Hills Center Drive, concluding at Trailwood Drive and Spring Gate Lane.

NIGHT OF FIRE
Enjoy auto racing, Spirit of 76 for NASCAR super late models, Robosaurus, jet car burn, USAC sprint cars, NASCAR chargers, NASCAR bombers, legend cars and bandoleros from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday at the Bullring at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, 7000 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Henderson
For the second year, Henderson is scheduled to host its Independence Day Celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Basic High School, 400 N. Palo Verde Drive.
"(Basic High School) was such a great partner last year, and everyone really enjoyed the location," said Nicole Johnson, a communications specialist with the city's Cultural Arts and Tourism Department. "So we thought, 'Let's bring it back to Basic.' "
Basic's student groups, from the Marine Corps JROTC to the student council, are planning to sell concessions such as hot dogs, hamburgers and ice cream to benefit school programs.
Johnson said The Randy Anderson Band, a country rock band, and The Downstrokes, a classic rock band, are scheduled to perform throughout the evening.
"They are a great taste of different types of music," Johnson said.
The 18-minute fireworks show, produced by Lantis Fireworks & Lasers, is slated to begin at 9 p.m.
People can use the free shuttle service to get to Basic beginning at 5:30 p.m. Locations to park include Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris St., and the Heritage Park Senior Facility, 300 Racetrack S. Road. The event is free.
LAS VEGAS 51S
The Las Vegas 51s are planning fireworks after their Sunday baseball game against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox on Sunday. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. at Cashman Field, 850 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Tickets to the game are $10 to $14.

Pahrump
Pahrump is scheduled to host its annual Liberty Fest with three days of events .
"Last year, we weren't able to do as much," said Nick Moore, an events coordinator for the festival. "This year, we were able to get more community support."
The festival is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday outside the Pahrump Events Center, 1261 E. Calvada Blvd.
Each day offers food vendors, activities such as face painting and balloon animals, and free entertainment from local bands.
"Bands range from classic rock to country and bluegrass," Moore said.
Moore said that this year, Pahrump tried to focus on family-friendly competitions, such as pie eating, watermelon eating, a hot dog-eating contest and a watermelon seed-spitting contest.
At 10 p.m. Saturday , the movie "Independence Day" is scheduled to be shown. The fireworks show is scheduled at 9 p.m. Sunday after the "Star-Spangled Banner."
Lake Las Vegas
The Village at Lake Las Vegas is planning to host two days of celebrations.
Starting at 3 p.m. Sunday , The Village, 15 Costa di Lago, Henderson, plans to offer face painting, balloon artists and a live disc jockey.
From 8 to 9 p.m., the Henderson Symphony Orchestra is slated to perform, followed by a fireworks show at 9 p.m.
From 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday , The Village is planning to present "Showtime by the Lake," which features music genres including Broadway, jazz, pop, county R&B, country and classical .
Admission is free.
Boulder City
Boulder City is scheduled to host its 63rd annual Damboree Celebration starting at 7 a.m. Monday with a pancake breakfast at Bicentennial Park, 1100 Colorado St.
As part of its celebration, the city is planning a parade, which is slated to run from Colorado Street to Fifth Street Memorial Park.
During the parade, a flyover presentation is expected by the Boulder City Veteran's Flying Group.
The day is slated to feature games, food and free entertainment. The fireworks show is set to begin at 9 p.m.
NORTH LAS VEGAS
The city of North Las Vegas is offering its annual Independence Day Jubilee from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday at James Seastrand Park, 6330 Camino Eldorado Blvd.
Along with food vendors and live entertainment from Purple Reign and Franky Perez, the city plans to have a fireworks display.
To address budget constraints, admission to the event is $2 each. This is the first year that the city plans to charge admission.
There is limited parking available near Revere Street and Centennial Parkway.
Laughlin
Laughlin also is planning to host free fireworks shows after dusk on Saturday and Monday .
The fireworks are set to go off over the Colorado River.
