1 person critically injured in 3-car crash in Summerlin

A three-vehicle collision Monday morning in Summerlin hospitalized one person with critical injuries.

The 7:55 a.m. crash happened in the intersection of at Alta and South Town Center drives, Metropolitan Police Department spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said.

One person was transported to University Medical Center’s trauma unit with life-threatening injuries.

No other details were immediately available.
