She's Sinatra's goddaughter, and if you don't hear it her music, you see it in Nikka Costa's leather-tough 'tude and don't-give-a-squat demeanor. Costa's heavy-breathing R&B is generally oversexed and underhyped. Not that Costa isn't trying. She appears naked on her YouTube channel to hype her new EP "Pro*Whoa!" We'd say more, but we know you're headed to the Web right about now. See Nikka Costa at 10 p.m. and 12 a.m. Wednesday through Saturday at Book & Stage at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, 3708 Las Vegas Blvd. South. The shows are free; call 698-7000.
