Police hunt for suspects in beating death

Las Vegas police are asking for the public's help in locating persons of interest in the beating death of a 51-year-old man.

Juan Marti-Guillen was beaten March 4 in the parking lot of a Wells Fargo bank at 791 N. Nellis Blvd., near Bonanza Road. Marti-Guillen left the parking lot but went to the hospital later that day. He died from his injuries March 17.

Investigators learned Marti-Guillen had been in an argument with a man in the parking lot prior to being beaten. The man is described as Hispanic, about 40 years old, standing between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 6 inches with a stocky build.

A second person, identified only as a Hispanic male accompanied by two Chihuahua dogs, was also in the area.

Anyone with information on the incident or the identity of the two people is encouraged to call the homicide section at 828-3521 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 385-5555.
