Hadassah of Southern Nevada will present "Sunday Afternoon with the Cantors" at 1 p.m. Feb. 27 at Summerlin Library and Performing Arts Center, 1771 Inner Circle Drive. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door (501-0314).

Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 8601 Del Webb Blvd., will present "Alexander Viazovtsev and Friends," a family concert of classical music, at 3 p.m. Feb. 27. Admission is free, but a goodwill offering will be received (341-7800).

St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, will have St. Peter the Apostle Feast Day 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m. today and 9 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Sunday . The parish's annual festival will feature food, games, music, entertainment, prizes and other activities (565-8406).

The Women of the Word Missionary Society of Unity Baptist Church will present the musical play "The Challenge of the Cross" at the 300 Women in Unison service at 3 p.m. Sunday at the church, 545 Marion Drive (459-2263).

Abundant Grace Church, 7391 Prairie Falcon Road, will present "Cross-Walk 2011" with Arthur Blessitt through Sunday . Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will host a Medicare Forum with Linda Hunt of the State Health Insurance Program, commonly known as SHIP, at 11 a.m. Feb. 27 (732-2052).

Stillpoint Center for Spiritual Development will have its annual author event fundraiser at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Family Music Center, 8125 W. Sahara Ave. The event will feature music by vocalist Richel Kompst and Andrea Goeglein, author of "Don't Die with Vacation on the Books." Admission is $50 and includes book and refreshments.
