Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will host a community forum with Caren Bedsworth from the American Red Cross on "Individual Disaster Preparedness ... What You Need to Know" at 11 a.m. Sunday. On Aug. 1, the church will host the forum "An Overview of Hospice Care" with Cassandra Cotton of community outreach at Nathan Adelson Hospice at 11 a.m. Coffee and cookies will be provided (732-2052).

First Henderson United Methodist Church, 609 E. Horizon Drive, Henderson, will offer the seminar "Better Together," based on the book by Rick Warren, at 7 p.m. Monday and at 1 p.m. July 31. The seminar will be facilitated by the Rev. Jim Robinson (565-6049).

Wellspring Church of All Nations, 4870 Janell Drive, will have a National Night Out block party featuring games, drawings, a kids jumper, food, giveaways and school supplies 7-10 p.m. Aug. 3 (631-5027).

MUSIC

"An Evening of Classic Vocal Group Harmony," the doo-wop show featuring the Chaperones, will be presented at 7:30 p.m. July 31 at Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave. Tickets are $15 at the door (454-3278 or 454-4229).

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will offer a "Camp Hope" summer day camp 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Aug. 2-6. The day camp for children from kindergarten through sixth grade will feature crafts, games, singing, stories and drama. Breakfast and lunch will be included. Preregistration is required (732-2052).

Singles groups
