2 armed with shotgun rob bar in northwest Las Vegas

Two men, one armed with a shotgun, robbed a bar after tying up the bartender Wednesday morning, police said.

About 5:15 a.m., the men entered The Hideaway Bar and Grill, 3369 Thom Boulevard, Metro Lt. David Gordon said. They tied up the bartender and put her in the restroom, Metro spokesman Officer Michael Rodriguez said.

They took about $1,000 from the register and the cash drawer before fleeing, Gordon said.

No injuries were reported, Rodriquez said. The men fled in an unknown direction, he said.
