Two gaming analysts land new jobs

Two Wall Street gaming analysts have switched shops and will soon be covering the industry for new firms.
Robert LaFleur, who was unexpectedly bounced in February by Susquehanna Financial Group, will join Connecticut-based Hudson Securities as the firm’s gaming, lodging, and leisure analyst.
“It will take me a few weeks to ramp up coverage, but I'm definitely back in the game,” LaFleur said in an email.
Rachael Rothman, formerly of Wedbush Morgan, replaced LaFleur at Susquehanna.
Meanwhile, Oppenheimer’s David Katz bolted his firm after eight years last week for a similar position at Jefferies & Co. Jeffries hasn’t had a lead equity analyst following gaming since Larry Klatzkin left the firm last year.
“I am energized by the opportunity,” Katz said of his move to Jefferies.
