MUSIC

A classical music concert featuring clarinetist F. Gerard Errante and pianist Philip Fortenberry will be presented at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 8601 Del Webb Blvd. A goodwill offering will be taken (341-7800).

EVENTS

Christ the King Catholic Community, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive, will offer fish fries 4-7 p.m. Fridays during Lent. The fee is $6 for adults and $3 for children younger than 12 (871-1904).

Christ Episcopal Church, 2000 S. Maryland Parkway, will offer soup and sandwich suppers at 5:30 p.m. Thursdays during Lent (735-7655).

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will offer the Lenten series "Parables of Jesus" at noon Wednesday. A light snack will follow the event (732-2052).

The North Las Vegas Church of Christ, 2626 N. Martin Luther King Blvd., will have a "Jubilee" featuring entertainment, workshops and food, 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. March 13 (648-8283).

St. Viator Catholic Church will have a St. Joseph Table featuring baked goods, candles, beverages and pasta dinner, 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. March 14 in the church's parish center, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. The fee for dinner is $5 for adults and $3 for ages 5-12 (358-9142).

Good Samaritan Lutheran Church, 8425 E. Windmill Lane, will have a shoe drive to benefit the nonprofit organization Soles4Souls Inc. The church will collect "gently worn" footwear throughout March for the organization, which distributes shoes to people in need (873-3589).

Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada will present the children's play "And a Child Shall Lead" at 2 and 7 p.m. March 21 at Temple Sinai, 9001 Hillpointe Road. Tickets are $5 to $10 for members of the community center and Jewish Enrichment World Services and $7 to $12 for nonmembers. The play is not recommended for children younger than 8 (794-0090).

Unity Center in the Valley will offer the women's workshop "How to Make Customers Happily Say 'Yes'!" featuring author Denise Michaels at 6 p.m. Thursday at 6375 S. Pecos Road. The fee is $20 in advance, $25 at the door. To register, call 979-1736.

Singles groups

New Life Christian Center has a singles meeting at 7 p.m. the second Friday of the month at 1229 E. Carson Ave. (387-5433).

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church sponsors singles groups for professionals 25 to 45 years old and a singles group for people 45 and older (228-8311, Ext. 7333 or 7334).

Single Adults Learning Together, or SALT Ministries of CornerStone Christian Fellowship, meets at 6 p.m. Saturdays at 5825 W. Eldora Ave. (871-5050).
