Trump headed back for 2nd ‘Tonight Show’ appearance

LOS ANGELES — Just in time for the next GOP debate, Donald Trump will make a return visit to NBC's "Tonight Show."

The Republican presidential candidate will appear on Jimmy Fallon's late-night show on Monday.

Trump previously appeared on "Tonight Show" on Sept. 11. The episode featured Fallon spoofing his guest's trademark ego by dressing as the former "Apprentice" host for a sit-down interview meant to focus on "me interviewing me."

The appearance gave Fallon his highest Friday-night numbers in 18 months.

The next GOP debate will air on Jan. 14 on Fox Business Network with Neil Cavuto and Maria Bartiromo serving as moderators. It will air from the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center in North Charleston, S.C.
