Lynn Zook, who has done so much for historical preservation in Las Vegas, is one of 15 people who will be chatting it up with host Robert Osborne on Turner Movie Classics in April, the first time that regular Joes and Josephines get the chance to sit in the chairs usually reserved for leaders in the movie industry.
Zook, 51, will be discussing the 1949 John Ford classic “She Wore a Yellow Ribbon.” Zook will appear on air April 15 as part of the celebration of the network’s 15 anniversary.
The former Las Vegan now lives in Sherman Oaks, Calif., but pops in and out of Las Vegas regularly to work on events promoting the preservation of Las Vegas history. Her Web site is one of those sites where those who enjoy history can wander endlessly.
