Five linemen visit UNLV this weekend

Five high school linemen are visiting UNLV this weekend as signing day nears.
Guard Alex Cosenza (6 feet 1 inch, 250 pounds) of Hamilton High in Chandler, Ariz., is a Scout.com two-star recruit. The recruiting service also ranks him as the nation's No. 143 guard.
Offensive tackle Thomas Kilgore (6-4, 285) of San Joaquin Memorial High in Fresno, Calif., is a Scout one-star prospect. He also has scholarship offers from UNR, San Diego State and Bowling Green.
The other three linemen made various first-team postseason teams in their respective areas.
Offensive tackle Alphonse Doiron (6-4, 290) attends West Valley High in Cottonwood, Calif. Offensive lineman Japheth Gordon (6-4, 250) is at Canyon High in Canyon Country, Calif. And two-way lineman Robert Waterman (6-3, 260) is visiting from West Ranch High in Stevenson Ranch, Calif.
Signing day is Feb. 4. NCAA rules prohibit UNLV coach Mike Sanford from commenting on recruits until then.
