North Las Vegas homicide under investigation

North Las Vegas police are investigating an apparent homicide Friday morning.

A domestic dispute between three roommates led to a homicide about 11:40 a.m., at a home at 4424 Nestos Valley Ave., near West Ann Road and North Decatur Boulevard, North Las Vegas police spokeswoman Officer Ann Cavaricci said.

One man was found near the side of the house and pronounced dead on the scene; another was found inside and taken to Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries, she said. The third roommate was found somewhere in the neighborhood shortly after police arrived, and was arrested, Cavaricci said. He is so far the only suspect in the case.

A neighbor said that one of the people living in the home was an older man who rented out rooms. The investigation continues and police have not released the cause of death for the man who was found dead.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
