The good news: We may have solved the mystery of the whereabouts of hot dog buns like Woolworth's used to serve, which are being sought by Sandra Ashenmil. Mike O'Brien noted that they were the New England-style split-top buns so many readers are searching for, "grilled on both sides and then the hot dog was served in it." Noting that they're not sold in local supermarkets, he recommended the "excellent" version at More Than Bread Sanborn Bakery, 5230 S. Valley View Blvd. Mary Fletcher e-mailed that the buns can be ordered from www.portuguesefood.com (or call 508-679-9830). And Dolores Acker wrote that Woolworth's-style buns -- which may or may not be the buns O'Brien and Fletcher remember -- can be found at Sunflower Farmer's Market, which is at 3365 E. For Richard Marmion, who's looking for Vintage lemon-lime seltzer or any other seltzer, David Albert and Elizabeth Proctor recommended the lemon-lime variety of the Big K brand that's available at Smith's, adding that it has no added sugar.
