Readers offer good news for olive fans

Almond-stuffed olives -- sought by Judy Walton -- are available from several sources, readers say.
Cheryl Hauntz said they can be found at Sunflower Farmer's Market at 4020 S. Rainbow Blvd.; there's another Sunflower at 3365 E. Tropicana Ave. Matt McGraw said he has found them in the olive bar at Vons at 7405 S. Durango Drive, and occasionally on the shelves of that store, under the Santa Barbara Olive Co. brand.
McGraw, Larry Ferguson and Belinda King suggested the Olive Pit at www.olivepit.com (or call 800-654-8374). McGraw suggested a stop at the store in Corning, Calif., noting, "never again will you see so many olive products."
