Late error dooms 51s again in Sacramento

A late error cost the 51s again Tuesday in West Sacramento, Calif.

On Monday, shortstop Tony Abreu's 10th-inning error allowed the winning run to score.

The 51s (10-8) took a 5-3 lead in the eighth on Larry Barnes' RBI single and Abreu's two-run triple. Abreu went 4-for-5 with three RBIs and one run, and Garcia was 2-for-5.

Reliever Matt White took the loss, allowing three runs (one earned) on two hits and one walk in one inning.

Sacramento (13-6) took a 3-2 lead on Dan Johnson's three-run homer in the fifth.

Las Vegas is off today, then will open an eight-game homestand Thursday, with four games against Tacoma and four against Sacramento.
