Broadway tunes to get Spanish makeover

Popular Broadway show tunes will be performed in Spanish during the second Spanish Broadway Review at 7 p.m. today and Saturday at Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive.

Songs scheduled for Ricky Vargas' 80-minute review include "New York, New York" and "Singin' in the Rain" as well as selections from "Cabaret," "Evita" "Chicago," "West Side Story" and "A Chorus Line."

Dance numbers will include tango and mambo set to the backdrop of "Evita" and "West Side Story."

A comedy sketch will feature the characters of Charlie Chaplin.
