Lady Rebels rally from 14-point deficit, defeat Air Force 91-79

The UNLV women’s basketball team overcame a 14-point deficit in the second half to topple Air Force 91-79 in a Mountain West game Saturday in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Danielle Miller scored all of her 17 points in the second half for the Lady Rebels (8-12, 5-4), who were down 61-47 before going on a 22-7 run in a seven-minute span. The score was tied at 78 with three minutes left. Aley Rohde then scored the next five points, and the Falcons (2-19, 1-9) missed their final seven shots as the Lady Rebels closed the game on a 13-1 run.

Alana Cesarz scored 12 of her 19 points in the second half and had 10 rebounds for UNLV, which shot 60 percent in the second half and had a 47-31 edge in rebounds. Rohde and Amie Callaway scored 14 points apiece for the Lady Rebels.

Lindsey Lewis scored 17 of her 19 points in the first half for Air Force.
