Inmate dies in Northern Nevada prison

A 52-year-old man incarcerated at Northern Nevada Correctional Center died Sunday, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections.

The inmate, Steven Case, died at the Regional Medical Facility at the Carson City prison, NDOC wrote in a Monday release.

Case had been serving two consecutive sentences for 120 months to life for two counts of lewdness with a minor since Dec. 20, 2012.

The Carson City coroner’s office will release the cause and manner of death.
