2016 Camry expected to again lead the way at Findlay Toyota

The Toyota Camry has it all, including good power, an impressive interior, excellent handling along with a strong following of loyal customers dating back many years ago. And the 2016 Camry from Findlay Toyota in the Valley Automall is following suit continuing an ever-present continuation of excellence in the very competitive automobile business.
The numbers tell the story in a dealership, as evidenced by the fact that the Camry is the top-selling model. The vehicle dates back to the 1983 model year and has since collected some very notable awards.
In 2015, the Camry was a finalist in the Kelly Blue Book Best Buy Award, and the vehicle received a five-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Additionally, the Camry has been named the Longest-Lasting Vehicle of Any Full-Line Automotive Manufacturer by IHS Automotive, and it was named the Most Trusted Brand in the Import Automobile Category by Reader's Digest.
Throw in the fact that 90 percent of all Toyota Camrys sold in the last 10 years are still on the road, and it's easy to see why the model is such a strong member of the vehicles offered at Findlay Toyota.
The Camry models include the LE, XLE, SES and XSE all powered by Toyota's polished finely tuned 2.5-liter, four-cylinder power plant and six-speed automatic transmission with gas mileage ratings of 25 city and 35 highway.
It is also available in a hybrid model with gas mileage ratings of 43 city and 39 highway.
Nice touches include 16-inch steel wheels with wheel covers and P205/65R 16-inch tires, a sport mesh front grill and LED headlights and daytime running lights. The technology package includes the available wireless charging system that allows the car owner to place a Qi-compatible device on the nonslip surface to charge up wirelessly.
The Camry's safety package includes 10 airbags, backup camera, blind spot monitor, lane departure alert, rear cross traffic alert, dynamic radar cruise control, pre-collision system, safety connect, star safety system and safety connect whiplash-injury-lessoning seats.
Dealership sales consultant Doron Bodinger said there are many reasons for the success of the Camry.
"The new Camry has so much new technology," said Bodinger. "In addition, there is a new trim level combining the luxury of the XLE and the look of the SE."
Bodinger said the buyer profile of the Camry is wide and includes a variety of customers.
"It's a car that is competing with all of the midsize sedans, so we have to be competitive. Toyota has done an excellent job."
Then, too, there is the fact that Toyotas hold their value, according to used car manager Rob Martin.
"We cannot keep a used Camry on the lot," Martin said. "They fit so many different demographics. It's a very affordable option."
