Chapman brings new 2017 Ram Power Wagon to town

Preparing for the arrival of 2017 models, Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram is holding its “Summer Slimdown” to sell existing vehicles and clear space on the lot. Perhaps the most anticipated newcomer is the Ram Power Wagon lineup of off-road trucks that include Rebel and the 4x4 Off-road Package.

Supporting the Ram brand’s claim to being the off-road truck leader, the Power Wagon is based on the Ram 2500 Heavy Duty 4x4 Crew Cab and features a number of off-road-specific enhancements, including a unique suspension with more than two inches of lift, locking differentials and a 12,000-pound winch, giving it a significant advantage over all production pickups.

“These trucks are getting better and better every year,” said Don Hamrick, general manager of Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. “Truck consumers have high expectations and the 2017 Power Wagon delivers with the ultimate in off-road and towing capabilities combined in one pickup.”

Engineered to conquer the great outdoors, the Ram Power Wagon boasts all-new exterior and interior design elements to match its off-road lifestyle. The Ram Power Wagon engineering efforts include a best-in-class 410 horsepower, 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 engine.

The Ram continues to beat the competition, boasting a number of accolades, including longest-lasting line of pickups, best-in-class fuel economy with exclusive EcoDiesel — 29 mpg with Ram 1500, best-in-class towing capability — 31,210 pounds with Ram 3500, best-in-class payload — 7,390 pounds with Ram 3500 and best-in-class torque – 900 pound-feet with Ram 3500 Cummins Turbo Diesel.
