Findlay, Cox join together to present safe driving campaign

Cox Media and Findlay Automotive Group are once again joining together for the iChoose to Drive safe driving campaign, an initiative that seeks to involve local teens, ages 13 to 18, in a behind-the-wheel education safety program by having them create a 30-second PSA video message about safe driving habits.

The winning individual or team will receive $1,000 cash and their school will also receive $1,000 cash from Cox and Findlay Automotive Group. Visit www.iChoosetoDrive.com to view contest rules or to enter. Contest deadline is Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016.

"We're proud to partner with our friends at Findlay Automotive on this community campaign aimed at educating and encouraging safe driving choices," said Michael F. Bolognini, market vice president, Cox Las Vegas.

Southern Nevada teens can enter the video PSA contest at www.iChoosetoDrive.com through Sunday.

Lexus of Las Vegas presents keys to couple who won RC 200T

Harry and Teresa Keller recently drove home in a new 2016 Lexus RC 200T 2.0-liter turbocharged coupe from Lexus of Las Vegas that they won in a January Key to Luxury giveaway at the Santa Fe Station.

Randomly selected by computer as part of Santa Fe Station's kiosk promotion, 35 people competed in a drawing for a chance to win a Lexus automobile. Teresa Keller drew key No. 22, which turned out to be the winning key.

"We were pretty shocked — really," Harry Keller said. "We never won anything. We are regular folks and were the new people in town. We've only been in Las Vegas for six months."

Paul Hunter, sales development manager at Lexus of Las Vegas, presented the couple with the keys to the RC 200T that Station Casinos purchased for $41,000. The Kellers only had to pay the taxes, registration, DOC and license fees.

"We are driving a brand new car that we only paid $4,700 for," Harry Keller said. "It's the nicest car we ever owned. Nothing beats the comfort and great ride of a Lexus."

The Lexus of Las Vegas dealership is located at 6600 W. Sahara Ave. Visit www.lexusoflasvegas.com for more information.
