Findlay Lincoln to hold Saturday Bark-B-Que Pet Adoption

“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” — Mahatma Gandhi, Indian leader

Findlay Lincoln has teamed up with Hearts Alive Village to provide food, fun and furry friends at its first Bark-B-Que and Pet Adoption on Saturday. The event, which will be held annually, is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. at Findlay Lincoln in the Valley Automall, 310 N. Gibson Road in Henderson.

In addition to finding a home for pets in need, Hearts Alive Village helps keep pets in loving homes through its pet food bank, Kendall’s Kupboard, and Solutions Over Surrenders programs. The nonprofit organization’s Charlie Mike program helps veterans with their pet needs.

“We are humbled and honored to do what we can to help those that are dedicated to helping others in our community,” said Findlay Lincoln General Manager Nathan Findlay. “We were looking for a way to help animals that needed homes, and we were blessed to find an organization that not only does that but also helps keep pets in loving situations and they help our veterans.”

Findlay Lincoln is part of the Findlay Automotive Group, a family-owned business, serving Southern Nevada since 1961.
