Allegiant links Las Vegas with the Quad Cities

Allegiant Airlines will link Las Vegas with the Quad Cities area of Illinois and Iowa beginning Oct. 14.
The Las Vegas-based regional air carrier announced twice-a-week nonstop service between McCarran International Airport and the Quad City International Airport.
The Quad Cities area consists of Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa, and Moline, East Moline and Rock Island, Ill. The area is about 160 miles west of Chicago and 160 miles east of Des Moines, Iowa. Flights will depart the Quad Cities area at 8:45 p.m., arriving in Las Vegas at 10:10 p.m. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 2:55 p.m., arriving in Moline/Quad Cities at 8:05 p.m. (all flight times are local).
