Gaming executives switch companies

Call it musical gaming executives. Two individuals with ties to the gaming manufacturing sector have moved over to the casino operations side.
Progressive Gaming International Chief Financial Officer Heather Rollo has jumped the equipment supplier’s sinking ship. Ameristar Casinos named Rollo chief accounting officer, effective next Monday.
Rollo will report to Ameristar CFO Tom Steinbauer.
In December, Progressive announced it was preparing for an asset sale on Jan. 15 unless it could meet $17 million in financial obligations. Rollo’s departure was not a good sign.
Meanwhile, former Shuffle Master CFO Richard Baldwin was named the CFO of Tropicana Entertainment, parent company of the Tropicana. Baldwin left Shuffle Master more than a year ago and has been consulting with different gaming companies.
Baldwin has corporate financial experience with International Game Technology and Anchor Gaming, in addition to Shuffle Master.
Baldwin will report to Tropicana CEO Scott C. Butera and will have responsibility for all of the company's financial affairs.
