Vadara, a non-gaming resort, will open on Oct. 1. Nightly rates will run from between $159 and $2,000. Designed by RV Architecture, LLC, led by Rafael Viñoly, Vdara will have 1,495 suites ranging in size from 500 square feet up to 1,650 square feet.

The 4,004-room Aria, which opens Dec. 16, has nightly rates for its hotel rooms from $179 to $799 while suites go for $500 a night up to $7,500. Aria, which was designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, have an 84-foot silver cast of the Colorado River in the hotel’s reception area. Famed artist Maya Lin is creating the piece, which will be her first work of art displayed in Las Vegas.

“The launch of reservations for Vdara and Aria brings us one step closer to the opening of this magnificent urban resort destination,” said Bill McBeath, president and COO of Aria.
