Business Press introducing new poll format

A new opinion poll is available at the Las Vegas Business Press' Web site, www.lvbusinesspress. com.

The new Business Press Web poll allows readers to vote as well as comment on the poll topic.

The poll is designed to increase interactivity between Business Press editors and readers, particularly the 70,000 or more monthly viewers who get their information about the local business community from the Web site.

The new poll ask readers to choose a yes or no response or to respond with no opinion based on the type of question.

This week's question is:

"Several states have passed or are considering laws that will require most businesses to let workers who are ill or injured miss work without docking their pay or threatening their employment.

"Businesses argue such a mandate could force many companies out of business.

"Do you support requiring businesses to offer all employees some paid sick days?"
