$200M renovation project completed at Harrah’s
Harrah’s has completed a $200 million renovation project, parent company Caesars Entertainment Inc. announced Friday.
The center-Strip hotel-casino received 2,542 guest room upgrades, a remodeled casino floor and new LED marquees at its north and south entrances, the company announced.
Dan Walsh, senior vice president and general manager of Harrah’s, switched on new purple lighting on the property’s exterior Thursday to mark the recent completion of the multiyear renovation.
Guests may notice the casino has upgraded lighting, new floor and ceiling tiling, carpeting and refreshed restrooms, a release said. There’s an oversized ombré art piece behind the front desk, as well as marble floors and counters, and bronze columns with wood paneling.
The revamped rooms now feature “bold purple and blue hues that complement the cream-colored décor, dark wood accents and contemporary fixtures,” the release said. Each room also has a large backlit vanity and a backlit mirror in the bathroom.
Marnell Architecture designed the new rooms, beginning with the 1,622 Valley Tower rooms completed in two phases, the release said.
The suites come with a separate living and dining space, a wet bar and entertainment area, a soaking tub and optional connecting bedrooms, the release said.
All 2,542 room and suite renovations were completed in 2020, the release said.
