Be still our hearts: February’s top 5 jackpots in the Las Vegas Valley

For a short month, February is packed with noted celebrations.

From Black History Month to Groundhog Day, from St. Valentine’s Day to Presidents Day, the second month of the year — every four years — even gets a Leap Day thrown in for good measure.

You might have heard about Super Bowl 58. Several people, locals and visitors alike, used the time to enjoy some leisure time at the tables or in front of the slots.

A pair of players won roughly $181,000 each taking different routes.

While seeing the Circa jackpot was enjoyable, it was the winner at Durango that drew my attention.

While awaiting his paperwork/payout on an $80,000 win, he then won $25,000 on a different machine.
