Chuck Jones Experience to open at Circus Circus

The Chuck Jones Experience at Circus Circus Las Vegas, an interactive exhibit which celebrates the creator of the Looney Tunes cartoon series, will be unveiled Thursday at the Strip resort.

Jones brought to prominence characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Wile E. Coyote. He also created the Merrie Melodies animated shorts, Tom & Jerry cartoons, and the television version of "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas."

The 10,000-square-foot attraction is near the Adventuredome.

Celebrities, Circus Circus officials, costumed characters and member of Jones' family will help detonate a giant "ACME TNT" plunger that will reveal the entrance to the attraction.
