Fertitta Interactive files to include online poker in gaming license

Fertitta Interactive LLC has joined a long list of gaming companies who have filed an application with state regulators to expand its gaming license to offer online poker in Nevada, the company announced Thursday.

"We support the regulation of online poker," said Lorenzo Fertitta, founder of Las Vegas-based Fertitta Interactive, said in a statement. "Our industry leading software has a track record of complying with the strictest regulations in jurisdictions around the world."

Fertitta said his company's goal was to provide poker players with the "best online experience" in a safe and well-regulated environment.

Other companies that have filed an application with the Nevada Gaming Control Board include Aristocrat Technologies Inc., Ball Technologies Inc., 888 Holdings, International Game Technology, and Cantor Gaming.
