Funeral services for gaming giant Lanni set for California
Funeral services for longtime gaming executive Terry Lanni will be held Friday in South Pasadena, Calif.
A celebration of Lanni's life is planned for Las Vegas, but a schedule has not yet been finalized.
Lanni, the former chairman and chief executive officer of MGM Mirage Corp., died Thursday after a two-year battle with cancer. He was 68.
A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1527 Fremont Ave. , in South Pasadena .
In lieu of flowers Lanni's family has requested contributions be made to the Lanni Family Cancer Research Fund under the direction of Dr. Heinz-Josef Lenz of USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Lanni is survived by his wife, Debbie, and sons, Sean and Patrick.
