JCM Global executes three-year contract extension with IGT

JCM Global executed a strategic supplier agreement with International Game Technology on Thursday, continuing a partnership that began in 1990, the Las Vegas-based gaming company said.

Under terms of the three-year agreement, JCM’s bill validators will continue to be the preferred validator for all IGT games. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Aki Isoi, global president of JCM, called the agreement a “continuation of a strong and meaningful partnership.”

“Over the past tow decades, JCM has worked hard to develop the highest quality products and innovative solutions combined with the best in-filed response and support of any peripheral company,” Isoi said in a statement.

In 2010, JCM became IGT’s first strategic technology partner, as the two companies research and develop new technologies for the gaming industry, according to a statement.

“IGT works closely with partners such as JCM to implement the most innovative technologies,” said Rick Lloyd, IGT director of supplier management. The two companies have had a 23-year partnership, which includes converting the side-mounted bill validator to an embedded unit.
