‘Green Energy’ show helps consumers stay up to date

For consumers, builders, manufacturers, municipalities, institutions and anyone interested in the green energy revolution, "The Green Energy Show" is now airing on Saturdays from 5-6 p.m. on KDWN 720 AM in Las Vegas and simulcast on KBZZ 1270 AM in Reno. The show is then replayed on KLAV on Thursdays from 7-8 p.m. and is archived on TheGreenEnergyShow.com for future viewing.

Nevada's newest and most comprehensive green radio talk show, "The Green Energy Show" is hosted by Jim Dallas and Nick Chalker, one of its co-founders who has an extensive background as an energy auditor. According to J.S. Parker, managing partner and co-founder of "The Green Energy Show," the program is an informative and entertaining forum for "all things green."

"While environmental consciousness is growing every day, the green movement is still in its infancy," Parker said. "'The Green Energy Show' brings together experts in a variety of disciplines and industries to discuss the trends and affects of green technology on both businesses and consumers. Our goal is to provide the latest and most accurate information to those whose businesses are impacted by the green movement, as well as to encourage the general public on the benefits of living a green lifestyle."

According to Annette Bubak, executive director and co-founder of "The Green Energy Show," keeping pace with the changes in technology, production, development, efficiency, legislation, construction, conservation, discoveries, methods and requirements is difficult given the rapidity of the green evolution. "'The Green Energy Show' is a fun and easy way to stay abreast of all that's happening in our state relative to green energy and the energy technology boom."

From alternative fuels and environmentally friendly cars to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification and carbon footprint legislation, from renewable energy production to new green products, "The Green Energy Show" is a forum for open dialogue and education for anyone interested in participating in the green revolution.

The show is a collaborative effort of the program founders and Nevada Energy Star Partners, the program's primary sponsor. Other sponsors include Lifestyle Homes, Pulte Homes, Liquid Stucco and Rolladen Rolling Shutters.
