Pardee clicks into green gear

Pardee Homes is introducing a new standard in home building and home buying that includes designer upgrades, new prices, lower interest rates and green living, according to regional sales director Rob Tuvell.
"There has never been a better time to purchase a new Pardee home," he said.
Pardee's new standard features designer upgrades that include granite kitchen countertops, beech cabinets and stainless steel kitchen appliances.
"These items are considered upgrades with other builders, but they are now standard with a new Pardee Home," Tuvell said.
With record low interest rates, new pricing that starts in the mid-$100,000s, and up to $8,000 in federal tax credits for those who qualify, the timing has never been better for home buyers, according to Tuvell.
In addition, buyers of a new Pardee home can look forward to lower energy and water bills, healthier indoor air and greater indoor comfort, according to Tuvell.
Pardee recently announced the company-wide expansion of its LivingSmart brand, a program with standard and optional measures that boost energy efficiency, save water, improve indoor air quality and encourage material conservation and the use of recycled or sustainable resources in new homes, according to Tuvell.
LivingSmart provides standard materials, systems and features with EnergySmart, EarthSmart, WaterSmart and HealthSmart advantages.
Buyers can add such features as photovoltaic systems for in-home solar power, house water filtration, tankless water heaters and bamboo flooring. Optional features vary by home and neighborhood.
Pardee neighborhoods offering the New Standard include: Riverstone at Prescott Park, Horizon and Northpointe at Eldorado Highlands, Solamar at Vista Verde, Rosetta at Mountain's Edge, Trail Ridge near Mountain's Edge, Ashwood in Nevada Trails and Montclaire in Green Valley.
