College, foundation to dedicate Realtors classroom

The College of Southern Nevada and CSN Foundation will dedicate the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors classroom at 9:30 a.m. today in the C building on the Charleston campus.

Association President Kolleen Kelley and CEO Nelson Janes will address real estate students as part of the ribbon-cutting, honoring the professional association for its years of dedication to education in Southern Nevada.

Over the past several years, the association has donated more than $120,000 to fund a scholarship endowment and student enrichment programs at the college.

"GLVAR is a wonderful industry partner. We are delighted to be naming a classroom in their honor and grateful for their support of CSN students," college President Michael Richards said in a statement .
