Chamber taking program applications

The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for the 2009 class of its Leadership Las Vegas program.

Applications are due by 4 p.m. June 6 at the chamber's office, 6671 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Suite 300.

Leadership Las Vegas, a 10-month program, aims to teach participants about local education, health care, gaming and tourism, criminal justice, history, social services and government.

Applicants must have lived in Southern Nevada for two years or be a graduate of the chamber's Focus Las Vegas program.
