Community Bank of Nevada named Kevin Houston assistant vice president and branch manager of its Sahara branch, Raine Shortridge vice president and branch manager of the City Centre branch and Yvette Perales assistant vice president and branch manager of the Sunset branch.

The Vegas Valley Angels, a local independent angel investing organization, named Joe Schillaci chairman of the board for 2008.

Pan Western Corp., a trucking company, named Dorian Shearer compliance director in Las Vegas.

US wants Boeing to plead guilty to fraud over fatal crashes, lawyers say

The U.S. Justice Department is pushing Boeing to plead guilty to criminal fraud in connection with two deadly plane crashes, according to people who heard federal prosecutors detail a proposed offer.
