To live like Steve Wynn will cost you $43,750 a month

For most people – especially those who live in Las Vegas – the average monthly rent is $1,000. But Steve Wynn isn’t your average renter and a typical two-bedroom, two-bath apartment on West Flamingo Road near Hualapai Way really isn’t his style.

Wynn, chairman and CEO of Wynn Resorts Ltd., calls three fairway villas at Wynn Las Vegas home. According to a filing Thursday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Wynn’s monthly rent is $43,750.

The boss even got his rent pro rated for November to $37,917. The two-year lease ends on Feb. 28, 2015, and the annual rental value for the villas is $525,000, the gaming company said.

Wynn is leasing a total of 9,745 square feet of space, including all furniture and furnishings, the five-page document said.
