McCarran International Airport on Friday opened its arms to travelers celebrating the Mexican Independence Day holiday weekend, serving up performances by Mariachi Oro Del Rancho, a 19-member student band from Rancho High School. Mexico's Independence Day, Sept. 16, is Wednesday.

A class-action lawsuit alleging hotel room price fixing was thrown out, handing a win to the Strip hospitality companies accused of anti-trust behavior.
