29-year-old woman identified in fatal car accident

A 29-year-old woman who died after a collision with a pickup early Sunday morning in the central valley was identified Monday.

Diane Marie Harmon, 29, of North Las Vegas, died about 2:45 a.m. at Charleston Boulevard and Shadow Lane, Las Vegas police said.

Harmon was driving a 2007 Nissan Altima east on Charleston when a 1999 Ford F-150 driven by Tatiana Taylor of Las Vegas turned south onto Shadow Lane. One of the vehicles caught fire.

Police said the front of the Altima struck the right front of the pickup.

Harmon died at the scene.

Taylor, 23, was hospitalized and listed in serious condition.

The crash marked the 93rd traffic fatality under the jurisdiction of Las Vegas police this year, they said.
