Coroner identifies North Las Vegas man shot to death Monday

A 35-year-old North Las Vegas man who was fatally shot Monday night while standing in front of his home was identified Tuesday by the Clark County coroner's office as Treanell Lovell Matthews.

North Las Vegas police said Matthews was outside his home on the 2100 block of Balzar Avenue, near Martin Luther King Boulevard and West Carey Avenue, when he was shot multiple times about 7:30 p.m.

He died at the scene.

Police spokeswoman Chrissie Coon said no one had been arrested as of Tuesday afternoon. She did not release information about a suspect or suspects.
