Former death row inmate to be paroled

The state's Parole Board has ordered the release of a man who sat on death row for 30 years for the killing of an elderly Las Vegas woman.
Ronnie Milligan, 60, was in his 20s when he was convicted of the 1980 robbery-slaying of Zolihon Voinski, 77, in rural western Nevada.
Milligan's release came about after District Judge Richard Wagner heard testimony that Milligan may have been wrongfully convicted of the slaying.
Milligan was one of three people charged in the slaying, but the only one to receive the death penalty.
Wagner ordered the state's parole department to release Milligan in September.
Milligan told investigators he had blacked out from drunkenness and didn't remember the slaying.
He will be required to get a job and meet with a parole officer.
