Las Vegas man dies in fall while riding bicycle

A 59-year-old man riding a one-pedal cycle fell over in a bike lane and died Sunday morning, Las Vegas police said.

The identity of the Las Vegas man was not released. The incident occurred on South Cimarron Road, south of Festivity Circle, which is near Buffalo Drive and Charleston Boulevard.

Police said the cyclist was traveling north on Cimarron in the bike lane at 10:18 a.m. when he fell to his side. The man was pronounced dead on site.

Police suspect he had a medical episode before his death. The Clark County coroner will determine the cause of death.
