Las Vegas police seek information in weekend homicide

Las Vegas police are seeking the public's assistance in solving a homicide case from last weekend.

Shahen Deravakian, 60, was found dead Sunday morning in an apartment complex in the 4200 block of Sirius Avenue, near Desert Inn Road and Valley View Boulevard.

Police said Deravakian probably died from blunt-force trauma, but the county coroner's office did not release an official cause of death on Friday.

Anyone with information, or who may have seen Deravakian before his death, is urged to call the Homicide Section at 828-3521.
