Man, 47, is arrested on charges linked to sex abuse

A 47-year-old man was arrested last week on charges related to sexual abuse of a minor, the Nye County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

Denny Albert Tsosie was arrested May 18 on two counts of sexual assault of a child under 14, two counts of child abuse and neglect, lewdness with a minor, incest and kidnapping with the intent to commit a felony, according to the sheriff's office.

Nye County Sheriff Tony DeMeo said Tuesday that Tsosie is being held at the county's detention center on $175,000 bail. DeMeo said the victim was a girl. No other information was released.
