Man dies after shooting in Las Vegas, police say

A man died after being shot Friday night near Martin Luther King and Lake Mead boulevards, according to Las Vegas police.

The shooting happened at 9:17 p.m. in the 900 block of Doolittle Avenue.

The man was transported to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made in the shooting.

The identity of the victim will be released by the Clark County coroner's office.

Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to call the Metropolitan Police Department's homicide unit or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555. Tipsters will remain anonymous.
