Man dies after shooting in Las Vegas, police say

A man died after being shot Friday night near Martin Luther King and Lake Mead boulevards, according to Las Vegas police.

The shooting happened at 9:17 p.m. in the 900 block of Doolittle Avenue.

The man was transported to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made in the shooting.

The identity of the victim will be released by the Clark County coroner's office.

3 accused of trafficking 45 pounds of fentanyl to Henderson

A Clark County grand jury indicted three men accused of trafficking nearly 45 pounds of fentanyl, the illicit opioid said to be many more times more powerful than morphine.
