Man found shot to death in northeast valley

A man was discovered dead from gunshot wounds early Saturday morning in the northeast valley, Las Vegas police said Sunday.

His identity was not released.

Investigators responded to shots fired at 3:46 a.m. in the 4700 block of East Craig Road, near Nellis Boulevard. There they found the victim on the ground in front of a business.

Police said the unidentified man was approached by another man who shot the victim before fleeing.

According to witnesses, the suspect ran east and was picked up by an unknown person in a white Lincoln Continental.
